About Airport School

The Airport Senior Secondary school was established in 1990 in the Airport colony, Calicut International Airport. The nearest CBSE School then was 25 KMs from the Calicut Airport. Even today the nearest Kendriya Vidayalaya (KV Malppuram) is about 24 KM from the Airport. The main objective of the school is to provide quality public school education to the wards of the employees of Airports Authority of India posted at Calicut. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Now the school has classes from LKG to Plus Two classes.

The first batch of Std X was presented for the All India Secondary School Examination in March 1995. The 100% result of the batch was the first milestone for the achievements of the school.. The First batch of XII students appeared for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination in March 2004
